Salut Les Amis! A common question I get from my peers and family members is how do I manage to do all of the activities that I do without feeling overwhelmed? The answer to this question can be excellently framed with the book I have been reading .
“4 hour work week” by Tim Ferris which talks about how to redesign your life and work less while increasing productivity, income, and free time through outsourcing, automation, and lifestyle design.
When I read through the following passage, it really resonated well with me and my future endeavours and I would like to share that with you.
This has really made me take a 30,000 foot view over all of my activities. Which of the activities that I involve myself in work wise and other interests that really nurture my deepest intentions to be excited? I found the answer by referring to the 80/20 Pareto Principle and taking one entire weekend identify all the activities where the genuine curiosity of my interests lead me to feeling deeply excited to take on any projects or spend time with.
I asked myself what are the 20% of the activities that are causing 80% of my problems and found out that I was choosing to involve myself in activities such as checking my email and chasing the “inbox zero” stage on a mailbox that is essentially filled with auto renew subscription emails. In the strictest sense, I was trying to fill up every second of my day with a work fidget of some kind to really strive to stay with the results by volume approach.
Making this discovery has resulted in a significant shift in my mentality of approaching all the activities in my day and now begins the long arduous road to fine tune each of them to avoid being overwhelmed and always be far more productive by doing just 20 percent of the work you are used to!

Time is the most finite resource that we have. To use it for doing the activities that we enjoy the most is single handed lay the most rewarding feeling one can ever have. Don't settle for mediocre coffee. Let's jump right into perfecting your brew. If you work in an office,...
