Back from Break: 3 Valuable Lessons That Changed My Perspective

Salut Les Amis! I apologize for the radio silence over the past 2 weeks! It has been a rollercoaster ride with so MANY things happening! I have heap loads of updates to share and some exciting developments have given me such a different view on my music and my efforts towards it ahead!

Come to think of it, it was a nice breather from the usual content creation routine and I have finally completed another iteration of the incredibly amazing book. This book definitely has high repeat value due to the plethora of knowledge it contains and I intend to fully immerse myself in it and gather as much value as one possibly can! Here are my top 3 biggest takeaways from the book -The Almanack of Naval Ravikant.

  1. Seek wealth, not money or status - Wealth is having assets that earn while you sleep, such as businesses or investments, while money and status can disappear overnight. Wealth allows for independence, freedom, and the ability to pursue your interests and passions.
  2. Focus on long-term thinking and compound interest - Time and compounding can turn small actions into significant outcomes, whether it’s investing or building habits. A long-term mindset allows for delayed gratification and reduces the influence of short-term emotions and impulses.
  3. Prioritize happiness and inner peace over external validation - External validation is temporary and relies on others’ opinions, while inner peace and happiness come from within. Prioritizing happiness and inner peace can lead to a more fulfilling and authentic life, even if it means going against societal norms or expectations.

  • Football Season Updates! - I have been drafted in the roster for Vidas Elite which will be playing in the 2nd division of the Eastern Pennsylvania Socccer League and we have begun our season with a 4-0 win over the team Drexel Hill Elite FC. It was a dominating display by our team and with an early start on the scoring, we secured the 3 points with a strong defensive display over 90 minutes!

Time is the most finite resource that we have. To use it for doing the activities that we enjoy the most is single handed lay the most rewarding feeling one can ever have. In my case, my priorities lie with three main activities that I deeply enjoy. 1- Music- Music helps me be creative in the most surreal way. 2- Football - Playing football keeps me fit and takes away all the built up frustration and weariness in the day 3- Reading and Writing - Both these activities help me spend time with...

Salut Les Amis! One of my most fond memories is my dad taking me to his workplace and getting us to drink the coffee from his office coffee machine and as a 14 year old, I would wonder, how can it be so perfect each time? Don't settle for mediocre coffee. Let's jump right into perfecting your brew. If you work in an office,...
